Terms of Service

These are the terms on which WEAF Company Uganda Limited ("we") provides Weafbooks to you. By opening an account or using the service you agree to them.

The service

Weafbooks is a subscription business management system covering sales, point of sale, inventory, purchasing, accounting, human resources and, where enabled, fiscalisation with a revenue authority. What is included depends on the plan and the add-on modules active on your account.

Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you give us, for keeping your credentials secret, and for what the users you create do with their access. Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised.

Subscriptions and payment

• Subscriptions are billed in advance for the period shown at checkout, and renew automatically unless cancelled.
• Add-on modules are priced separately and billed alongside the subscription. Enabling one mid-cycle is charged pro rata.
• A free trial, where offered, ends on the date shown in the application. Nothing is charged during it.
• If payment fails, we may suspend access until it is settled. Your data is not deleted during a suspension.
• Prices may change. We will give you notice before a change applies to your renewal.

Your data

The business data you put into Weafbooks is yours. We claim no ownership of it. We process it to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You may export your data at any time while your account is open.

Tax integrations

Where you enable a fiscal integration, Weafbooks transmits documents to the revenue authority on your behalf using credentials you provide. You remain responsible for the accuracy of what you file and for your own tax compliance. We are not your tax adviser, and a transmission failure at the authority's end is not something we can control.

Acceptable use

Use of the service is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy.

Availability

We work to keep the service available and we maintain backups and a disaster-recovery replica, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance is announced where practical.

Support

Support is provided by email and through the chat in the application, during business hours, at [email protected].

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profit, or for loss arising from data you entered incorrectly. Our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Suspension and termination

You may cancel at any time; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. We may suspend or terminate an account for non-payment or for a serious breach of these terms, and will tell you why.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified in the application before they take effect, and continuing to use the service after that is acceptance of them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda, and the courts of Uganda have jurisdiction.
